Authenticity & Sourcing Guide

Use this guide to review a collectible’s source, included documentation, and photos before purchasing from Together Treasures by R&J. Information about one item should not be treated as proof for another.

Source channel

If the source matters to your purchase, ask about the specific item before ordering. Useful questions include where it was acquired, whether its source is documented, and whether any source records are included. This guide does not establish a store-wide sourcing channel or verification process.

Included proof and certificates

Read the individual listing for the documentation described as included. The listing for Funko Pop! Movies: Leprechaun #1245 describes an included FunMaker Certificate of Fun. That description does not establish independent authentication of the signature or certificate, and does not apply to other items.

A certificate’s presence alone does not establish that it is legitimate. Before relying on one, ask who issued it, what it certifies, whether it identifies the specific item, and whether the issuer offers a way to verify it. A reference number or logo alone is not independent verification. This guide makes no store-wide authentication, grading, or authenticity guarantee.

What photos document

Review the photos provided in each listing for visible details such as packaging, markings, signature appearance, and condition. Do not assume that a photo shows the exact item being shipped unless the listing or seller confirms it. Photos alone do not establish authenticity, provenance, an official grade, or certificate legitimacy.

If a detail is unclear, ask whether photos of the exact item, certificate front and back, identifying numbers, or condition details are available before ordering.

How to ask questions

When contacting Together Treasures by R&J, include the product title or listing link and the detail you want clarified. For example:

  • What is known about this item’s source, and is that source documented?
  • Exactly what paperwork comes with this item?
  • Who issued the certificate, what does it certify, and how can it be checked?
  • Do the listing photos show the exact item I would receive?
  • Are additional photos or condition details available?

If documentation or an answer is important to your decision, clarify it before purchasing. Do not assume that unlisted proof, third-party authentication, or grading is included.
